Millie Nowak, PA-C joined our practice in 2023. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Louisiana State University, a Master of Science in Nutrition from the University of Kentucky, and was a Clinical Dietitian prior to becoming a PA. She earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Practice from Florida State University. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and is a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Millie was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, exercising, cooking, and doing arts and crafts.
Jessica Sander, PA-C, was born and raised in Miami. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Florida State University. Prior to Physician Assistant school, she acquired experience as a Medical Assistant at Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee, working with Dr. Inglese. This is when she discovered her interest in Dermatology.
Jessica attended PA school at South University in Tampa, FL. During her graduate studies, she focused on dermatology and completed her elective clinical rotation in Cutaneous Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center.
Jessica was honored and excited to rejoin the Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee family as a PA in 2020. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, and American Academy of Physician Assistants.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys taking spin classes, spending time with her dog Oliver and enjoying the Florida lifestyle being by the water.
Sara Kaye Givens, PA-C joined our practice in 2021. She is a board certified Physician Assistant with experience in general dermatology. She received her Associate of Arts degree from Chipola College in Marianna, Florida. She then obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology, with a minor in Psychology, and her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Practice from The Florida State University.
Sara Kaye was born and raised in Chipley, Florida. She previously worked as a DRAP student at Dermatology Associates with Dr. Low from 2017-2018. She is in good standing with the Florida Board of Medicine and is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistant’s. Sara Kaye holds a certification from the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and is also members of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants and Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.
Sara Kaye is married to her husband, Bert, and volunteers with Junior League of Tallahassee. In her spare time Sara Kaye enjoys gardening, traveling and spending time with her family.
Erica Calil is a board-certified Physician Assistant who joined Dermatology Associates in 2020. She was born and raised in Miami, FL and is fluent in Spanish. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Florida and earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
As a provider, she aims to serve her patients with inclusive skin treatment and quality patient education in general dermatology. Erica is an active member of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Diversity in Dermatology, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants as a Diplomate Fellow.
In her spare time, Erica enjoys trying local restaurants and coffee shops, traveling, and spending time with her greyhound, Butter.
Mayra Zimmerman, PA-C joined our practice in 2014. She is a board certified physician assistant with experience in cosmetic, surgical and general dermatology. She specializes in hair treatment, specifically Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment, and V-Beam laser treatment for vascular issues. In addition to practicing, Mayra is a clinical assistant professor at Florida State University.
Mayra was born in Lima, Peru and raised in Vero Beach, FL. She received her both her Bachelors degree in Health Science and Masters degree in Science & Physician Assistant studies at the University of Florida. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
She in involved in the local community as a board member for the American Red Cross and volunteers with Junior League of Tallahassee, Tree House, Hang Tough Foundation and HOPE community center. In her spare time Mayra plays tennis with the local USTA league and enjoys diving and traveling.
