Jillian Johnson, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with specialized training in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with a minor in Biology, from the University of Southern Mississippi, where she was also a four-year member of the Southern Miss softball team. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Practice at Florida State University.

Jillian is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and maintains good standing with the Florida Board of Medicine. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Florida Academy of PAs, and the American Academy of PAs.

A Panama City native, Jillian is proud to serve her hometown and surrounding communities alongside Dr. Davis. She is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain healthy skin while embracing the outdoor lifestyle of the Florida Panhandle. Outside of work, she enjoys biking, watersports, photography, sunsets, and spending time with her family and pets—Tucker, Maggie, and Chessie.

Jennie Merchant is a board-certified physician assistant at Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee (DAT), where she has been practicing since 2017.  A Tallahassee native, Jennie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University in 2014. Before attending PA school, Jennie gained valuable experience through the Dermatology Research and Practice Scholars (DRAPS) program with Dr. Green through DAT. She then went on to complete her Master’s in Physician Assistant Practice degree from Campbell University in 2017.

Jennie is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and holds the distinction of “Diplomate Fellow”. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates, Diversity in Dermatology, and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. She is in good standing with the Florida Board of Medicine and is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Jennie specializes in surgical and general dermatology. In her free time, Jennie enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching football and baseball, and exercising.

Kayleigh is a Certified Physician Assistant who specializes in Dermatology. She attended the University of Florida during her undergraduate career and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Health Science degree. She then attended the University of South Florida, where she received her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies and was inducted into the Pi Alpha Honor Society for her academic achievements, public service, and leadership.

Kendall Wells PA-C was born and raised in Elkridge, Maryland. She joined Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee in 2023 after graduating with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University. Kendall is a board-certified Physician Assistant who specializes in general dermatology. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wingate University. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She has completed the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants Diplomate Fellowship program. In her spare time, Kendall enjoys traveling, running, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Tristan received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and then graduated from Nova Southeastern University PA program Fort Lauderdale campus in 2012 with a Masters of Medical Science. He joined Dermatology Associates as a Physician Assistant in 2012 but worked previously as DRAP student with Dr. Cognetta from 2008-2009. Tristan is on faculty at Florida State University PA program and has lectured on various dermatological topics at conferences and at FSU’s PA program. He is in good standing with the Florida Board of Medicine. He is the journal and education chair for Diversity in Dermatology organization. He has also been published in the “The Dermatologist” journal. Tristan is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistant’s and holds the highest distinction of “Diplomate Fellow.” Tristan holds a certification from the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. He is also members of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants and Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. When not working he enjoys spending time with his wife Julia and four boys, volunteering at church, hunting, and cheering on the Seminoles.

Tallahassee Native, Sarah B. Skipper, PA-C, BS, MMS is a nationally certified physician assistant specializing in dermatology at Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee since 2009.  She completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Florida State University and then earned a Master of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University.  She is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and is in good standing with the Florida Board of Medicine. Sarah is a member of Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

When not immersed in dermatology, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, Bryant, and their two sons and daughter.

Sara Kaye Givens, PA-C joined our practice in 2021. She is a board certified Physician Assistant with experience in general dermatology. She received her Associate of Arts degree from Chipola College in Marianna, Florida. She then obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology, with a minor in Psychology, and her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Practice from The Florida State University.

Sara Kaye was born and raised in Chipley, Florida. She previously worked as a DRAP student at Dermatology Associates with Dr. Low from 2017-2018. She is in good standing with the Florida Board of Medicine and is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistant’s. Sara Kaye holds a certification from the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and is also members of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants and Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.

Sara Kaye is married to her husband, Bert, and volunteers with Junior League of Tallahassee. In her spare time Sara Kaye enjoys gardening, traveling and spending time with her family.

Millie Nowak, PA-C joined our practice in 2023. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food  Science from Louisiana State University, a Master of Science in Nutrition from the University of Kentucky, and was a Clinical Dietitian prior to becoming a PA. She earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Practice from Florida State University. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and is a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Millie was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, exercising, cooking, and doing arts and crafts.

Mayra Zimmerman, PA-C joined our practice in 2014. She is a board-certified physician assistant with experience in cosmetic, surgical, and general dermatology.  She specializes in hair treatment, specifically Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment, and V-Beam laser treatment for vascular issues.  In addition to practicing, Mayra is a clinical assistant professor at Florida State University.

Mayra was born in Lima, Peru, and raised in Vero Beach, FL.  She received both her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Master’s degree in Science & Physician Assistant studies at the University of Florida. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

She is involved in the local community as a board member for the American Red Cross and volunteers with Junior League of Tallahassee, Tree House, Hang Tough Foundation, and HOPE community center.  In her spare time Mayra plays tennis with the local USTA league and enjoys diving and traveling.

Jessica Sander, PA-C, was born and raised in Miami. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Florida State University. Prior to Physician Assistant school, she acquired experience as a Medical Assistant at Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee, working with Dr. Inglese. This is when she discovered her interest in Dermatology.

Jessica attended PA school at South University in Tampa, FL. During her graduate studies, she focused on dermatology and completed her elective clinical rotation in Cutaneous Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center.

Jessica was honored and excited to rejoin the Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee family as a PA in 2020. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, and American Academy of Physician Assistants.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys taking spin classes, spending time with her dog Oliver and enjoying the Florida lifestyle being by the water.

Erica Calil is a board-certified Physician Assistant who joined Dermatology Associates in 2020. She was born and raised in Miami, FL and is fluent in Spanish. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Florida and earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

As a provider, she aims to serve her patients with inclusive skin treatment and quality patient education in general dermatology. Erica is an active member of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Diversity in Dermatology, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants as a Diplomate Fellow.

In her spare time, Erica enjoys trying local restaurants and coffee shops, traveling, and spending time with her greyhound, Butter.
