Dr. Michael Bernhardt
Dr. Michael Bernhardt joined Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee in June of 2021. Dr. Bernhardt serves our Tallahassee patients, and he will also is a Core Faculty member of our University of Central Florida Dermatology Residency Program.
Dr. Bernhardt has been a board-certified dermatologist with the American Board of Dermatology since 1984. He attended Emory University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Alabama Birmingham. He practiced in Jacksonville, Florida for 35 years where he regularly received the distinction of “Top Doc” and became the first dermatologist President of the 2000-member Duval County Medical Society.
He has a passion for all things dermatological, especially advanced therapies for immunologic-based conditions and tumor discovery & removal. In addition to providing exceptional dermatologic care, Dr. Bernhardt stays heavily involved in clinical research, industry consulting, and speaking internationally at medical meetings. He has been a faculty member for several family medicine training programs, where he has been awarded Teacher of the Year.
